A port with a strong focus on bulk cargo
We are a full-service port, but a significant part of our operations consists of bulk cargo, particularly in recycling, steel, biofuels, and forest products. This has been the case for decades. It has shaped both our personnel and the port area, allowing us to confidently offer highly competitive, safe handling with short lead times today.
In our ports, you will find everything: mobile cranes with lifting capacities of up to 104 tons, tens of thousands of square meters of storage space, hundreds of meters of railway next to the quay, and connections to Sweden's road and rail networks.

In Halmstad, the Ports of Halland are an important part of the country's imports of cars and steel, as well as exports of recycling. We also have excellent opportunities for ferry traffic.
