Our commitment extends far

Being a port is more than just handling goods efficiently. For us, it also means integrating sustainability into all our operations—from safety and environment to workplace and quality.

Our commitment to sustainability is extensive and includes active participation in both national and local sustainability initiatives, as well as a focus on selected global goals in Agenda 2030 that are most relevant to our operations. We are proud to contribute to a socially, environmentally, and economically sustainable world. This also involves a constant effort to reduce our environmental impact by focusing on digitalization, electrification, and the reduction of fossil fuels.

Electrification creates good conditions

To reduce carbon emissions, we actively work with alternative fuels. Our machines and vehicles are increasingly powered by HVO, a completely fossil-free fuel, which is a significant step towards sustainable operations. We also plan to gradually switch to electric vehicles and machines. This not only makes the environment cleaner but also demonstrates our commitment to using the latest technologies.

We work long-term with sustainability

With a firm determination to lead the transition to a more sustainable future, our activities and initiatives encompass everything from the use of fossil-free fuel and recycling to the implementation of new sustainability strategies in accordance with the EU's Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). We are ready to meet the increasing demands and look forward to reporting our continuous development and progress in sustainability.
