Through collaborations and activities with associations and organisations in the region, Halland's Ports work to help create meaningful leisure time.
We collaborate with associations that create social benefits and share our core values: to be fair, brave and developing.

Criteria for sponsorship

To qualify for sponsorship, associations must:

Be active in Halmstad or Varberg
Have a drug and alcohol policy
Present a business plan and clear values
Have a plan for how the sponsorship amount will be used
Contribute to sustainable development according to Agenda 2030
Be religiously and politically independent

The application process

Organisations interested in sponsorship can apply for a one-year cooperation agreement. The application period is from October to the end of November this year. Follow-up of the cooperation takes place in both March and September.

Once the application for sponsorship has been submitted, a working group carefully checks that the organisation meets all the criteria and a first selection of applications is made. Decisions on sponsorship are then taken by a steering committee and all partnerships are formalised through written agreements. Decisions are announced in December each year.
