Port of Halmstad

We are Sweden's leading port for handling recycling materials such as scrap metal and plastic fractions. We also have a strong position in handling imported metal and steel raw materials for the Swedish industry. Additionally, we rank among the country's leading container ports. The proximity to European roads and rail infrastructure makes the port a transport and logistics hub on the Swedish west coast. To meet future challenges, we are currently making significant investments.

The Port of Varberg is Sweden's leading forest products port. To meet a growing demand for the export of forest products, we are currently undertaking several major investments. Among other things, we are building a new port section, introducing new rail solutions, investing in digitalization, and creating opportunities for interim storage. Our vision is to become Europe's most modern forest products port and the Swedish forest industry's obvious access to the world.

Thanks to the proximity to major transport routes, such as the E6 highway and railway lines, we enable seamless transfer of goods between different modes of transport, facilitating efficient global distribution.
